Law Enforcement Torch Run 2017

Several Officers from the HHPD participated in the 2017 NJ Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. Chief Michael J. Colaneri, Captain Joseph Rinke, Lt. Michael J. Colaneri Jr., Sgt. Alan Baker, Sgt. Daniel Kroncke, Det. John Behr, Det. Bradley Dussault, Ptl. Joseph Olivo and Ptl. John Cambridge were lead by the HHPD H1 Hummer, NJ State Police, and Motorcycle Units from Rutherford PD and Wood-Ridge PD down the Boulevard from Lodi to Wood-Ridge. Along the Boulevard, the HHPD ran with several kids from the local grammar schools and middle school. Over 300 kids ran various distances with the HHPD as the Torch makes its way to the Trenton Opening Ceremonies. The HHPD was the second highest fundraising Department for the NJ Special Olympics. This honor reflects also on our borough’s residents.
