Snow Storm Predicted – No Overnight Parking

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING TO BE GRANTED TONIGHT

A WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 4 PM TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THEREFORE NO OVERNIGHT PARKING WILL BE GRANTED. 

SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES IS EXPECTED BUT THE STORM COULD PRODUCE AS MUCH AS 3 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE. VISIBILITY DURING THE SNOW STROM WILL BE LIMITED TO A HALF A MILE AT TIMES. 

THE SNOW WILL DEVELOP PRIOR TO DAYBREAK TUESDAY AND BECOME MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE. SNOW MIXES WITH RAIN BEFORE TAPERING OFF TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE SNOWFALL WILL MAKE TRAVEL TREACHEROUS AND DANGEROUS, ESPECIALLY WITH THE AMOUNT OF SNOWFALL STILL ACCUMULATED. IN ADDITION HEAVY, WET SNOW MAY CAUSE SOME WEA FLAT ROOF STRUCTURES TO COLLAPSE. TREE BRANCHES WILL ALSO BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO FALLING. 

ROADS WILL BE SLIPPERY AND VISIBILITY DIFFICULT AT TIMES. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING. 

REMINDER——REMOVE ALL SNOW/ICE FROM VEHICLE PRIOR TO TRAVEL.
