HHPD help make a boy’s Birthday a special one

The Hasbrouck Heights Police Department assisted other Police Departments around the world in making one boy’s Birthday, a special one. Tyler Seddon is a 6 year old boy in Rhode Island that is battling Leukemia for the second time in three years. His 7th birthday is on March 6th and when he was asked what he wanted for his Birthday, he only asked for Birthday cards from his heroes. These heroes were Policemen and Firemen. The support from the Law Enforcement community has been overwhelming with the Post Office in Tyler’s hometown having to rent a 7 ton truck to deliver the packages, cards, and other items that have been received for Tyler. After reading the story of Tyler, the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department had no hesitation in obtaining a birthday card with every officer signing it along with other items and mailing it to this courageous young man. The Hasbrouck Heights Police Department wish Tyler a Happy Birthday and to Stay Strong in his fight.
