Police Chief for a Day Giuliana Riccobono

Chief Michael J. Colaneri reports that on Friday, June 2, 2017, Giuliana Riccobono was sworn in by Mayor Jack DeLorenzo to assume her new position with the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department as Chief of Police.  Chief Riccobono toured Police Headquarters greeting her officers, as well as, taking time to train in the gym.  Chief Riccobono proceeded to Euclid School where she conducted a security drill with the school staff.  From there Chief Riccobono joined approximately 20 other local Chiefs at the Bergen County Courthouse for a meeting with Sheriff Michael Saudino.  At the end of the day, Chief Riccobono was given a reception in her honor at the Stoney Hill Inn.  Special guest at the luncheon was Retired NY Giants Quarterback Phil Simms who she was able to have a personal lunch with.  Chief Riccobono was happy with her new position but decided to retire to continue her education at Euclid School.
