#4 in the State

Throughout the years that the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics has taken place, the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department has been dedicated to raising money toward  the cause. The HHPD has consistently finished within the Top #5 donators throughout the ENTIRE STATE. The highest ranking for the 30 man HHPD was #2, behind only the over 150 man Jersey City PD. This year the HHPD finished number #4 throughout the State and was once again listed on the NJ Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run T-Shirt handed out to participants throughout New Jersey. The feat of a close-knit community’s Police Department raising the 4th highest amount of money for the Special Olympics speaks volumes to the generosity of the residents and businesses within Hasbrouck Heights.
